Call (347) 743-6121 or email nunuivona@verizon.net. Tell us your child's age and the days you need. We will tell you what is open and answer your questions. From there you can plan a visit.

Tour the room
Come see the classroom your child would join. Meet the teachers who run it and watch how the room works during the day. Ask about meals, rest, and the daily rhythm. Most families know after a visit whether it feels right.

Enroll and settle in
Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. Shorter days at the start help a child ease in. Teachers stay close during drop-off and pick-up. You can ask questions at any point along the way.
What to have ready
Most families gather a few papers before the first day. Expect enrollment forms, a health form and immunization record, emergency contacts, and the names of adults allowed to pick up your child. Ask us for the full list so nothing is missed.
Pack a change of clothes, outdoor gear for the season, and anything your child uses for nap. A small comfort object from home helps. Label everything with your child's name so it finds its way back.
Talk with your child about drop-off and who will pick them up. Tell us how you would like to hear about the day, and how much detail. On the first morning, hand your child to a teacher and go. A calm goodbye helps.
The first weeks
The first days are often shorter. A child arrives, finds a familiar spot, and gets to know one teacher well. That teacher greets them by name each morning. Bringing a comfort object from home makes the room feel more like home.
At pickup, teachers tell you what your child did, ate, and how they rested. They will mention anything that stood out. Most children settle within a few weeks, though every child is different. You can always ask for more.

Can we visit before deciding?
Yes. A tour is how you get a feel for the rooms and how the day runs. Your child can come along and see the space too.
What should my child bring on the first day?
On the first day, families usually pack a change of clothes, diapers and wipes if needed, and a comfort item from home. Label everything with your child's name so it finds its way back. Bring a water bottle and any food your child prefers, though the center mostly serves organic produce, milk and meat.

What does a typical day include?
The day is built around arrival, play and learning, meals and rest, outdoor time, and pickup. Our hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Ask your child's room for its own daily rhythm.
How will I know how my child is doing?
You hear about your child's day at pickup, when teachers share what happened and how your child ate and slept. If you want more detail, you can ask the teachers directly. They are CPR and First Aid certified and have undergone background checks and fingerprinting, so they know your child well.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules depend on your child's age and what openings we have right now. Ask us what is available for your child's age group, and we will tell you what we can offer.
What if there is no place right now?
If a place is not open for your child's age, you can ask to be told when one is. Just give us your child's age and the days you need.
What should I ask on the tour?
Ask about hours, meals, and who can pick up your child. Ask how the first weeks are handled and what the day looks like. Those answers tell you most of what you need.
